Modification to shoe-mount Flash + Softbox

I mentioned in another thread an extender I made so that I could shoe-mount my flash for macro. Essentially it's a angled open-ended box that slides onto my Yongnuo on one end (lined with velcro for stability and then the softbox fits over the other end.

Here's the sequence.

Extender
Extender...

Extender with flash
Extender with flash...

Shoe-mounted
Shoe-mounted...

Nice setup, extenders work well and you don't have to have all the side rigging. Now if we could only figure out a way to pivot the softbox to the left or right to accommodate the macro shooting environment as needed. Hmmmmm.......

Thanks for even more ideas. I'm trying to eliminate the bracket on mine. I'm looking for a good way to mount on the hot shoe too.
