Hi Gary! Thank you! Your the only one to comment on these pix so far, and I appreciate your question too! No, those are fly masks made of a sort of soft vinyl screen that they can actually see thru. They keep flies and mosquitoes out of their eyes. Dirt too. Masks do look funny. Google 'horse products' and just go to any online store and you can see all kinds of masks that look like faces too. Hilarious. Poor horses don't care. They just like to eat grass. :) Thank you again for asking. And seeing my pix. I hope you're having some nice weather over your way! Today was our FIRST really warm day so far! I think we're in for a drought in the midwest this year. Not good. Susan

Very interesting paint job on the first one. Both are very nice looking animals and, obviously, very well cared for.

Hi Bob! Thanks for the note, it's good to hear from you, and I really like your avatar! VERY original. Did you take a selfie with an x-ray cam? :) Susan

Susan,
I found the avatar image on the web. The only thing I did was re-touch it to add the glasses that I wear.

Hi Susan! Just catching up with everyone. Was a long week.:) Beautiful horses!!! Do you just have two? I had a team of work horses when I was young. Did some maple syrup and pulled fire wood out of the woods for the cookers. But had to seek them when I went into the service.

Beautiful horses, Susan! I love horses and wish I could have had one, but I'll settle for Oreo, my kitty cat, for now! :)
