Hi, had a walk out this morning with camera and sigma 500mm lens.photographed some herons , great creasted grebes Canadian geese.

The Blue Heron is my favorite bird to photograph. They are very graceful and beautiful in Flight

I have found that bird photography is very "Challenging". I finally figured out other photogs get these closeups. They use a long telephoto lens and then crop. This way you don't scare them away.
