Thanks, NS - new to Lightroom, so will come in handy. Appreciate the post!
Good to have. TY.
I am making a backup of this site, just in case it goes away
thank you nikonshooter, just downloaded this a couple days ago, put linda on my favourites
Thanks nikonshooter, I love light room. Looks like some nice improvements over LR3
Please, how did you make a back-up?
Nope, did not work, sorry.

ok, so I get over to that link and get this pop up:
COURSE RETIREMENT NOTICE
Photoshop Lightroom 4 Beta Preview will be retired from the lynda.com Online Training Library® on March 31, 2012. After that date, the training videos and Certificates of Completion for this course will no longer be available. For updated training on the subject, please view our new Photoshop Lightroom 4 New Features course.
(so much for e-mail chains huh?)
That is why I posted the youtube link...
nikon shooter on the linda.com site i cannot find the 2 hrs of freebie training that the link refers too. is it one for beginners and what is the title of the video and the author of the video. Have you used linda .com (paid service) for any other photo videos and have they been useful tools.

I went through a two DAY training course for LR4. While we covered most everything, we hardly had time to go into depth on everything. I imagine that only two hours wouldn't do more than scratch the surface of the application.
I'm going into PS now only if I need heavy editing. Most all of my prep work for generating a final product is done in LR4.
