I just bought a used 2x Kenko Pro 300 to use with my 70-200mm Canon "L" lens. I already own the 1.4x Kenko Pro 300 and it does a nice job... I first bought the 1.4x Kenko Pro 300 about 2 years ago... I didn't get the 2x or 3x Kenko TCs because I heard that they degrade your lens too much... I just bought the 2x Kenko Pro 300 from my friend for $50 and I am trying it out now... The 2x will push my 200mm up to a 400mm and it will give me more reach. I don't expect it to be as sharp as the 1.4x but for $50 I can use it...
The bird that I photographed below wouldn't set still so I caught him and tied his little foot to the tree limb... not really, he just happened to land over one of the bird feeders...
Which camera did you use this with?
I used a Canon 60D with a 70-200mm lens + 2x Kenko Pro 300 TC...
