Gettin' Some Clicks

A poster on the For Sale forum wanted to sell his brand new Nikon DF with only "200 clicks" on it. Folks responded by saying that 200 clicks wasn't nearly enough to get to know a camera. I agree.

So, I went out today after work, wanting to get some "clicks." I wanted to try my new lens, my new D7100, and to try to learn manual exposures on it.

My subjects were varied and not terribly interesting (I won't be entering any of them into any contest, that's for sure!), but I did learn a bit more about my equipment!

(Very little PP done, except the "Wired" shot).

Thank you! The back story is that I spotted a burned-out building from the road, but could not find my way to it (all roads were blocked). Then, I came across the fire training site and saw this building behind it.

As I was approaching it to get a decent angle, a large, grey fox scooted across the field in front of it. But it had disappeared into a hole before I could get my camera up.

Fun set Fred...It's nice to take the equipment on a test run! I could barely see the cat on the porch, right side front, even in download. Glad you pointed it out....keep shootin!!!
