I keep trying to get something a little different and interesting to share of these little birds. I seem to have a constant stream of them coming through the yard. They're challenging, but fun to watch. Hopefully you'll get a sense of that from these photos. I have many shots but have picked six of the better ones to post today.

Suggestions and advice are always appreciated.

Attractive series and you did manage to get some less usual poses of them like the one grooming.

There's something delightfully silly about that last one. I'm glad you liked these and appreciate your taking time to look and comment.

Those little guys are amazing. Each time they turn, the color changes. Of course, they're so much smaller than the photos indicate, you really can't see the detail until they're caught on camera.

Thanks for taking time to comment Linda. I'm most grateful.

These are great shots! I have never seen a shot of a hummingbird sitting on a limb. I have only seen them hovering at a feeder. Great find.

Wonderful detail and the colors are beautiful! I love looking at their little faces and eyes that always look a bit angry.

I love all bird pictures in UHH, but these hummers you shot are really great with lots of detail. I was wondering why so many hummingbirds come thru your yard; do you or your neighbor have sugar syrup available?
