Have you ever had this happen to you, if so please feel free to add your pictures. I took this picture early last year and went back last week to try for a better shot.Well I drove right past it before I realized something was missing. Broke my heart.

Oh gosh, how disappointing that must have been. Very pretty images either way.

One has to wonder why they would take down a perfectly good barn. In the southeastern plains of Colorado, people will ignore a structure until it rots away from natural causes. This includes abandoning a perfectly fixable stick built house in favor of dragging in something manufactured.

You do what you have to.

As a famous hockey player once said, you will miss 100 % of your shots if you do not take them. Who made a goal on that one shot you took.

I suppose that some people just have no esthetic awareness. But you have the memory and that's a plus. I also have a pic of a barn on a neighbor's property with a huge oak at the corner of it. A couple of weeks ago, they cut down the tree. ruined my shot!

Well since this little barn seems to be in good condition, I have to wonder what happened to it.

Not to be haughty about this, but are you sure you are at the same place? The trees are so much different (size). I understand they could have fixed the fence at the end, but it just doesn't match enough. What a change in one year.

Thanks Kingmapix. If it's red, shoot it.

Oh believe me , it's the same place. I am reposting the first one so you can download. I was not standing in the same spot and the seasons are different, but same place.
