A Lonely Foot Bridge

Taken out at the Kankakee River State Park. In the summer that bridge is busy with foot and bike traffic. On this day I could count the vehicles on one hand. Most must have felt it was to cold to enjoy the park on the day I took this picture.

I like the snow to a point. I also have a summer picture taken of this foot bridge as well. Winter is fine as long as it is not too cold and NO wind. .. :)

I must be a little weird because I love the sound and the feel of the wind. I love to feel it on my face and in my hair but I know what you mean by being cold.

Very nice shot, Norm! I'd love to see the summer picture of the bridge. You call it a "foot bridge" but it sure looks like a covered bridge....one of the things I love!

Well it is a small bridge meant for only foot and bike traffic. This is the summer picture. I had posted the winter picture of same bridge a few days ago. Quite a contrast form summer with green grass to winter with snow on the ground. This bridge is located about 7 miles from where I live at the Kankakee River State Park. I frequent the park both summer and winter for some good photo shoots of nature. Thank you for the compliment. I am fairly new at this, and hope to get more into photography this summer.

Yeah, but some people can't stay outside in the cold very long before suffering from hypothermia or frostbite.
