Hi Lowcountry girl {Irene}. Welcome to UHH. We lived in Summerville form 1999 to 2007. Love Love Love the lowcountry. I have a good friend that lives on Edisto Island...we taught together at Cottageville Elementary...her Dixie.

Hey, Irene, and welcome to UHH. I have been "stalking" this site for a while and have only posted a few pictures so far. Go ahead, don't be shy post some pictures!! There are a lot of really nice people here and a wealth of knowledge floating around if you want to learn.
Oh, by the way, I live in Florida now but am originally for S. C. also and have lots of kin folk in Mt. Pleasant, Andrews, & Georgetown. I have some pictures (in the Charleston area) of the roadside sweetgrass basket makers...do you have any you have taken? I would love to see them if you do....mine are not digital & I haven't scanned them to my computer yet. Now, that's something I need to do. Anyway, once again, welcome to UHH.
