Surprise Bloom

I was so fed up with trying to save this orchid after it lost its bloom last year, that I threw it out. My husband literally pulled it out of the garbage and kept it in the basement. He'd water it once in a while when he'd remember to. Last week I found it and what a beautiful surprise. I took a couple hundred shots this morning. Here are a few. Enjoy!

It's funny...when I see each of these in isolation, it changes how I feel about them. Particularly the softer pp'd as in the first. I can see the first one on a card..maybe an Easter card. Thanks for your comments Carlysue

Beautiful set from these orchid, yes you just keep em when they loose their flowers , takes a little while but they start blooming again an again....
