In reviewing this forum, it seems that there is a lot a excellent advise on purchasing and using equipment plus people willing and eager to share what they know.
I went out last night to try to take a quick picture of the Blood Moon. Of course, I failed as I should have done my homework first. Any advise for how to shoot the moon? My longest lens goes to 200mm. I have a Nikon D-90. Just need some basic ideas, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, tripod. I can always practice on the non-blood moon and wait for the next event in October of 2014.
I am very interesting in learning how to shoot outdoor night shots of homes, architecture, sunsets, stars/moon etc. using natural lighting, spots and HDR. I have attached the photo to show what a novice I am. Here's to learning more from this forum!
