Fire Department Training Burn

Spent Saturday taking photos of a practice burn on a building next to our Fire Department. Thankfully the wind was blowing in the right direction.

These are actually some of the better training photos that I have seen posted on UHH. But that group photo you took just about made me fall off of my chair, I was laughing so hard. That was great! I love the sense of humor!

Appreciate your input. You are such a good photographer, your comment means a lot to me. I was trained to do documentary type photos years ago, and I guess it is what I really like to do the best. I have tried getting "artsy" but somehow they never turn out the way I want them to.

Well, with hunters it is the photo with the dead animal and the gun used; with a fisherman it is the caught fish; and with firemen......... We take similar pictures at all the practice burns when the training is over and the building is being allowed to fully engulf. But you are right, the humor is unmistakable.
