hi all-
i've been lurking on this site for about a month. some good info here. i got my 1st dslr right before thnksgiving - canon t3i. i love it love it love it, especially coming from a sony point-n-shoot that is about 8 years old.
i'm pretty eager to see what else i can learn from everyone's tips.

Welcome, and my first tip to you is to upgrade from the kit lens, if you haven't already. You will be even more amazed what a t3i can do with good glass.
