Welcome to day 9 of our year long challenge. This has been a very interesting journey for me. Not only am I challenging myself to get out and photograph something every single day but also to see things in different ways.
So here is my entry for today ... To me this tree represents the Ugly Hedgehog. It's got a good strong base, it is growing a multitude of different directions. Some good, some maybe not so good, some may even be questionable.... but together we are stronger and help each other continue to grow.

I agree - two great photos, one with something pretty thought provoking to go with it - and it is dark here too, and raining...

Amazing shots really. The tree seems magical and the shot of the bird is beautiful in black and white. Great detail - Its not easy to shot white objects. This morning I got up early and chased the sunrise.

Excelent analogy! I'm going to have to try that effect on some of my pictures. I find it interesting especially for when I want to do a little something "artsey" like when I make cards.

Ok...I got out early this morning and tried shooting the moon.....NO! Not that ! lol This is my first attempt and the best of all the ones I took...I didn't even realize that I got Orion in the shot too !
