What seems to be the problem? What have you done to try to get it to work? We might be able to provide some insight, but a bit more info would probably help. Thanks.

Is it a recent lens purchase? If so, look at the end of the box and see if it says "Nikon D5300 Compatible". The D5300 body was released with a new AF Algorithm and many older Sigma lenses are not compatible with the D5300. Sigma will update the older lenses for free if you ship it to them and request the compatibility upgrade.

The Lens AF works super in View Mode but not at all in Live View on my Nikon D5300. Everyting works great on a Nikon D5200.

When you buy used its"what you see is what you get". The upgrade cost will be on you, but I think its only a $40 to $80 charge depending on the lens, and may be free if you have a good story for them. Sigma has great customer support.
