Well got up at 2:30 and went up to the top of Haleakala for a great sunrise shoot, but after getting set up to a perfectly crisp , clear wonderful morning my hands and legs gave out and I was rushed off the mountain with another small attack that ruined the morning, I am getting so bummed out every-time that I try and do something this happens now again after a morning of cat scans not word and back home in bed, waiting for the next round of tests, oh what a beautiful sunrise I missed. Hope I get a chance to try again.

That's a shame Terry, I hope they find something they can fix.
Please Note: Effects of high elevation on pregnant women, young children and persons with heart or respiratory problems should be considered! We are headed up over 10,000 feet. Be sure to dress warmly for Haleakala's summit (Temp. 20-40 degrees F)!
Hope all is going well and that you have a quick recovery. I do enjoy the sunsets even more than the sunrise.

Been there, done that, froze my butt off. It really isn't as good as it's cracked up to be. But I'm glad I did it. Better luck next time if the situation presents itself. Dress for winter.

I once heard that if you want to make God laugh you need only tell Him your plans. In my life's experience I'm sure I've made Him wet His pants (figuratively, that is) on more than one occasion. Each time He has given me another day to try again, I'm glad you received the same gift and I'm sure you will make good use of it.
P.S.
What was the altitude where you had your attack? I know that a lot of people are affected by altitude sickness when they go from sea level to the thinner air without taking time to acclimate.
Get well soon.

You got up and made the effort, great job the mountain was just a little to high. Good luck on your tests. I've had stints put in and know how you feel.

Sorry you missed it, but you made the effort. Here's a link to some pictures you can view in warmth and comfort.
