I've been in a creativity deep freeze. Just couldn't get my head out of the doldrums. But I'm trying to come out of hibernation.

I think these are very creative and like them. You may wish to try lightening the first one just a tad to see how it looks. Then again, it could just be different monitors. 8-)

Thank you for posting these, Carlysue. I like the superimposition if the coarse cloth texture over the face in "Torpor" as well as the highlighting of the jewel in "The Diamond". Were both of these effects the result of PP?

I appreciate that,Bmac. It did post darker here than on my monitor altho' it is a dark image. I have had the same issue at my local photo club, images that I put in competition are darker than I anticipated.

Vicki, that is so kind of you to say. I have this mental thing that I feel an image for me must be "post-worthy" even tho' I don't ever mind seeing what others put up. I can be hard on myself.

Yes to both, RichardQ. I tried several processes on the same image and I'm not sure I remember exactly how I got to these. The earring just was the brightest spot after I converted to black and white so figured it had to be focal point. She was doing my pedicure and I was taken with her beautiful face and asked if she cared if I photographed her while she worked. I did quite a few images and gave her copies. Thank you for looking and taking the time to comment,Richard. I appreciate that.

Thank you,Jerryc41. I've been trying to get my head wrapped around photographing better images. Life can sometimes get in the way of my fun.
