First shots with new 24-105 "L"

I just received my new Canon 24-105 "L" lens, which I'm replacing my 28-135 kit lens with on my 7D. Haven't had much chance to play around but here are some pictures of an old adobe house near our church. I doubt these will win any awards, but I was quite happy with the results from this new "L" lens.

Basil, I really like the shots. I'd try just a smudge of PP HDR. Is the building occupied? Very quaint and charming. Good vibes.

I've added a couple more of an old Chrysler Imperial I spotted at a service station on the way home.

I'd love to but I'm not sure how (HDR = High Dynamic Range?)

No, the building isn't occupied. I think it's part of what remains of the original old village of Tijeras (New Mexico).

It's an excellent lens, and I think you will enjoy using it as much as I have mine.

Since I picked it up for close to half the normal retail price, I felt it was a good way to get a second "L" lens without breaking the bank. My other "L" is the 70-200 f4 (non-IS).

A good friend who is sort of responsible for re-sparking my interest in photography won't shoot with anything else.

The best "walk around" lens in my pouch! Good detail Basil.

It's great to have that much fun.

The shot of the door and the symbol really caught my eye. Go back and shoot that one again so it includes all of the symbol. It would make a great looking stand alone picture.
