It's been so wet and windy here, so with the last day or two of dry & warmer weather, I thought I'd fire up the Yongnuo & knock the rust off. Had some fun, but not much to stalk.

Outstanding detail.
I like 'em all, especially the caterpillar. You must have been quite quick to catch him. Your Exif says no flash used.

That's strange.... I'll have to check it out.
Only way to keep your equipment from locking up.. Nice shots, glad you found some time to get out and about..

Both of you use after-market speedlights on Nikon cameras. Might be an electronic communication breakdown.
These are really good Allen, my favorite is the very long legged fly. You really do need to get out and shoot more. We are missing out on some fine images!
very nice, the Yongnuo does not communicate with my Nikon either

Finally! Something bad to say about YongNuo speedlights. "Lost in translation".

It doesn't bother me. I know if it fired or not.
I wonder if the YN565 w/TTL communicate or not?

Thank you. I intend to get out more. I have tons of vacation time accrued, but I'm so busy. I'll have to forget about my indispensability! ;-)
I would actually like to make my way south and hook up with a few others in Long Beach, CA. I lived there half a lifetime ago....
