Ansel Adams Gallery

We were in Indianapolis last week and I went to an Ansel Adams gallery set up. What a great thing to see. It was interesting to watch video of him at work and to see the equipment he used. Big cameras, big tripods in wood and big cases to carry everything in. If you are in the area or live there you will spend your time in a good way by going.

We had his exhibit at a local museum a few years back. It was very enjoyable if you are into photography.
Yes he used the best equipment of his time and did extensive post processing in the darkroom.

If you're ever in St. Louis there is a fairly new photo photography museum about 3 or 4 blocks from the symphony and theater. I haven't been there yet, but here's the link (http://www.iphf.org/). I plan on visiting sometime...just a short Metro train and hike away :)
