Does a blue filter work on a digital? I do not have a lot of luck
correcting the color of 3200K when I do indoor shots. I have PhotoShop CS4. I'm not a big filter user but this one was always good with film. Maybe I need help with CS4.
It would.....but why? Your camera has selectable white balance to give your images the cool blue, or warm amber tones at will.
Try Image>Adjustments>Photo Filter> then select Cooling Filter (80) or one of the other cooling filters.

Color filters are really not intended for, and aren't needed, on digital cameras. Film only.

If you find that you are having a hard time correcting color, buy a cheapie grey card to keep in your bag.
Shoot a shot of it as a reference, and then when you bring your images into your post processing software, there is a neutral reference point that you can adjust to.
They are cheap, a few bucks.
If you shoot in the same places, you only have to take one reference shot and then save the preset (In lightroom) so that from then on, (assuming the light is the same) you have the custom correction.

Bill,
If you are photographing in RAW Adobe Bridge will provide all of the colour balance you need.
Otherwise, use your camera settings to compensate. Placing a colour filter in front of your lens will tint the entire image that colour and it will be hell trying to get any reasonable colour balance afterwards.
