Decided tonight to take a drive to the top of Sandia Peak, which overlooks Albuquerque. Wanted to take a stab at some sunset photos. Here's an example.

Nice picture, a little to much blue. Would be nice to see the bottom of the picture. I'm in Albuquerque a couple of times a year. A great place to take photos.

Yeah, I agree about the blue. I was hoping for a more spectacular sunset, but it just wasn't happening.

It looks to me that with a little PP work there is so much more information in this picture, potentially a great shot.

Sorry to be negative Basil, it just my opinion and not a criticism.

Nice shot Basil. We don't get many sunsets of those colors over here.

The first time I took that tram ride up, I was NOT prepared for the 40 degree temperature drop between the Restaurant/Gift Shop and the top of that mountain!

BTW; Very nice colors.

Thanks. Not what I was hoping for, but I kinda like the colors too.

It can get chilly up there for sure! Interestingly, we drove up there specifically to take some sunset pictures, and there were about three other people up there at the lookout with exactly the same idea. We were all freezing our behinds off!
