walked right past our window - isn't she beautiful! and babies so well behaved - no pushing or shoving, or mum, he's touching me, or mum he's looking at me, or mum, make him stop breathing on me.
just beautiful :-)
I put out some romaine lettuce and celery (all the veggies we had in the fridge) - not sure what else to put out for her.....
Soo cute!! Really neat photos...they used to come in the night for our grapes, otherwise I don,t know. Maybe scavengers?
Wonderful picture- didn't know that was how they moved babies!
Flea-infested vermin. Just their presence will contaminate your yard, and put pets & children at risk of flea-transmitted disease.
This makes me feel more kindly toward possums. She's a good little mum.
All mammals can carry fleas. They are all Gods' creatures. Just protect your pets from any wild animals...I agree with Heirloomtomato!
As soon as I read, I fed them, I knew the hate mail was soon to follow. I have one under my shed, well it least, I think he's still there.
We have an armadillo living in a deep hole, under the Wisteria vine! Every morning there are holes, so you better watch out, or you will break an ankle! I barely saw him at dawn one morning.

They like dry dog or cat food. Easiest for them (esp the babies) in a shallow pan.

It's unreal how she can carry that many babies without dropping any!
I find it amazing that they know how to get on Mom's back in an alternating method to even the load.
