Very dark barn with only a small amount of light from missing shingles. Hope you like it. Seamus
If that little screecher screeched at you there in the dark... well, I hope you have sent out your laundry by now.
How in the world did you ever find him? That is a really creepy shot, like it.
I love it
This particular barn used to have Great Horned Owls in it until about a year ago; I think people (this barn seems to be very popular) finally drove them away. I used to have to scrutinize the upper portions of the barn very carefully to find the Great Horned Owls. So, that is what I was doing when I noticed this guy, and another one. Screech Owls are much smaller than Great Horned Owls, so what I'm trying to say in a very round-about-way is that I got lucky. I should add that I let my eyes adjust to the darkness for about 5 minutes before looking.

That's a great shot! ... just because it stands apart from the usual. Much more light would have ruined the uniqueness and mysterious character of it.

Nice shot SeamusMac, it has a bit of a spooky air to it.
