I saw this bird in a tree yesterday and managed to get a pretty good shot however I can't identify the type of bird.
I'm pretty sure it's a Falcon.

I believe thats an old 64 nova bird.
They usually aren't know for being good flyers.
You usually find them in a gully or ravine.
Nice shot.
I've seen the type that hang out in the gullies and ravines but never the tree type.
1962 ford falcon...my mother in law had one...but it mysteriously disappeared....I do know she had a broom to fly around on...maybe...

My bad. Most definitaly a Falcon
63 Falcon bird... Chassis common with 64 ½ Mustang... Part of a modern "missing link" a very odd branch of the tree of life.

It looks like a Ford but I don't think it's a Thunderbird.

Reminds me of my first car. It was a 63 Ford Falcon Futura. It had a hole in the floorboard that was patched up with a light sheet of metal with rivets so water wouldn't splash my feet when it rained. Ah, those were the days.
Any theories as to how it got there?
