LOL! Up and at it. Headed for our Friday morning coffee with our "support the troops" gang. We all wear red for "Red Friday" ...and I get to have a donut or something of equal nutritional "value" instead of my bran flakes! I will go to work when I get back and see what I can invent....I look forward to seeing where you travel to get your inspiration!

Nope..... there will be no Marbles II or Invasion of the Marble Snatchers....although Seven tried desperately for the leading role in that one. Just back to normal things until Inspiration strikes. I've been chasing bugs.....you know they don't even have proper bugs in the city. ????? Guess that could be from lack of plant life, huh? So, which bug of Inspiration has bitten you recently Simon??

I missed the "Fathers" contest by a couple of weeks...sigh... maybe I'll enter this next year.
1986 (In honor of the rededication of the Statue of Liberty)- Bill and our son Richard on a Tiger Cruise from Norfolk, VA to New York. Here they are on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier, USS Kennedy CV67. Bill (Lt. William A Confer, USN Retired) is pointing to a supply ship and explaining the underway ship replenishment procedure. At the time, our older son Larry was a member of the crew assigned to the USS Kennedy.

I've been rather busy lately entertaining my who is son visiting from Seattle while painting and recarpeting 3 bedrooms. Plus making arrangements for Bill's memorial and interment at the nearby National Cemetery. When thing slow down, I'll be sure to check in more frequently with all my friends on UHH.

Bill passed away last November and was cremated ...I waited to schedule the service for what would have been his 90th birthday.
