Just an old fella trying his hand at fishing on the first day of Spring. Quiet day at the lake. I thought the PSE manipulation made an otherwise 'blah' photo a little more interesting. What do you think?

I love the subject and the idea of using a sepia filter, but the graininess negates the serenity and the sepia is a little overdone. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks seeSAW. It was a great day to be outside. I asked the old boy, 'Catching anything?'. He responded, "Yep! Some great sunshine!"

Thanks for viewing, Selkii, and for your comments. We don't all see the same thing when we view a photo, do we?

I totally agree with you, which is why I always hesitate before posting. However, if all we gave each other were thumbs up, we would never know what others are seeing in our works. I appreciate when I get helpful criticism, so, once in awhile, I will put my 2-cents in.

I loved, loved, loved your subject, but, yes, I do see it differently (I guess) than you.

Agreed on to much Grain effect as well as overdone Sepia, you might try a B&W then lightly add Sepia to that

You're so right Selkii. It's input from our fellow Photogs that give us that wider perspective. Much appreciated.
