Has anybody here have any experience with Ryther Camera or 42nd Street Photo. I am looking at buying a Nikon d7100 and both of these stores have pretty attractive pricing. Would appreciate any feedback. Thank in advance. PhotoPhred

PhotoPhred, can't answer your question, but I love your avatar. Enjoy your new Nikon.
My understanding is the a lot of the lower priced stuff is grey market. Sometimes vendors offer a US warranty from a third party on grey market goods, but it is not from the manufacturer. Look very carefully at the wording. There is a difference between "Brand New USA warrantied product" and "Brand New USA MARKET warrantied product"

Danger, Will Robinson. I think the vast majority of the Hogs, based on experience, would caution against ANY vendor with suspect low pricing. I think the names you will hear as reputable, reliable vendors are B&H, Adorama, Roberts (where I bought my refurb D7100), KEH, Cameta and perhaps one or two others. Just be careful and ask lots of questions. If it looks like a bait and switch, hang up.

Thanks for the advice. This is one reason why I love this site, lots of collective experience. Glad you like my cat Marionsho.
Well....you get what you pay for...service (Grey Market) etc.
You might get a cheaper price up front, but then you pay more on the back end....My advise..B&H or Nikon...
42nd Street is OK,i have used them with no problem..
B&H, Cameta or Adorama. Can't go wrong with any of those. Plus they have the "Bill Me Later" service that is 0% interest if paid in a certain time. It can be up to 18 months depending on how much you spend.

The "Bill Me Later" payment system has had some pretty bad reviews from people who have used it. I have never used it and I don't know if the complainers are in the majority or minority but I suggest anyone thinking of using the service check it out thoroughly first.
Don't forget Samy's Camera in California

I've used it a few times and as long as you pay as agreed, by the deadline and make minimum payments monthly(on time), it is interest free. You gotta "READ" the agreement.
I think it is a reasonable deal for big dollar items. All the major retailers mentioned here offer it.
Any time you see a noticeably lower price, look closer to confirm you are getting the same item with the same warranty. Some lens companies make slight changes to the name of a lens that at first glance you may miss. Take the Tamron 70-200 2.8 for example. There are 2 models at the local place at a large difference in price. One has Vibration Control and the other does not.
