where from MT shooter....Billings, Kalispell for me
Close to Billings, a sleepy little town called Shepherd with a LOT more cows than people.
There were a couple of Buick guessers. The Flying Lady ornament picture I posted is from a 1936 Buick 96S Coupe. Very sporty and fast Buick in its day.
Lots of flying lady ornaments out there, the Rolls probably the most famous as well as the first.
That cloud formation was gone completely within about 5 minutes that evening. Saw another interesting formation today, but by the time I found and exit from the freeway and pulled over it had changed drastically, nothing like it had been just 5 minutes before.

Saw this cloud on the way home one evening and had to pull over to take the shot. Reminded me of an old hood ornament, anyone care to guess what car?

Too bad it has the big reflection on the left of it, would make for a nice dragon image!

Yes, wished I had rolled down the window. Maybe I did. Have to go back and see.
Too late, the cloud is gone now! LOL

I actually took two pictures of her through the window. The second one has less glare on the left--the better picture. That cloud is not really why I stopped. I've attached the "ice cloud" that was on the other side. That was what I was aiming for. I have been fortunate to capture four different ice clouds in all different places.
Out here we call those Sun Dogs

I was one of the Buick people, but it was no guess. My parents were Buick people and had a Buick Skylark.445 wildcat engine. Talk about power for those days. Think it might have been a 1967
