a few weeks ago I posted a thread about shooting some film again for the first time in years, Roy Hakala sent me a message saying he had an old film camera he did not use and offered to send it to me free, I offered to pay for shipping but he would have none of that,,I got the camera in today, it is a canon ae-1, in great shape, has a flash, remote cable,camera bag, the manual, and even some film, its people like Roy that make this site so wonderful, thank you again Roy,,

I think overall most of the people I have talked to on here are nice people. That's what keeps me coming back.

I used to have a Canone AE1. It was a great camera. It was stolen and I have always missed it.

I still have an AE-1. Great camera! I shot many rolls of Tri-X and Kodachrome through it.

I have been getting UG for two or three months, and it is one of the most enjoyable reads I've had in a lifetime. I like to sit down and look it over when there is no one around to distract me. then to read of the generosity involved, I really like the read. Great forum for an ignorant want-to-be!
