Most pictures taken of trees in this area now for the most part would be kind of drab. Fall time the trees come to life. Here is a couple one winter scene and one fall scene.

The Redwoods are always awe inspiring, right up there with the Sequoia's. Here is one I've taken of a Sequoia, the are simply massive.

I agree, drab colour wise but with the leaves off and the monochromatic colours, one better able to appreciate the structure of the scaffolding of the branches.
