Does anyone have any experience using this type of filter? What are the pros and cons (besides price for a good un)? Any images with and without for comparison?

I checked the search and found no results. Sorry if this topic has been covered previously.

Thank you. I had read that article, but I was hoping to get some hands on info from the forum.

The best and most flexible filter system for camera I have found is the Coken filters.

I have one, a very old one actually. I don't use it often, but when I do the results are wonderful. Great for sunsets or sunrises when you want to enhance the sky or reflections of the sky in water. Probably right behind my Tiffen Enhancer filter in my favorites scale of filters.

You should look at color filters for B&W I use them with my B&W film all the time. You should always have a yellow filter on for B&W

I don't that for a minute. My query was whether and when there may be a redux of the Hog Gathering at Yellowstone.

Lead by no other than that famous Montanee Image Grabber.

I have a heliopan circular plolarizer that I use quite often and that I like very much. It sure saturates the sky and foliage quite beautiful - wouldn't want to be without it!
