Shooting with cell phone.

Hi all,
yesterday, I went to Black Hill Park to shoot the sunset. When I checked the camera, there was no cf or sdhsc card. I checked my camera bag and I could not find any card. This was great disappointment for me. I was looking at the sky and water and the beautiful reflections of clouds. I was about to leave but all of a sudden I thought why use my galaxy 4 phone. So took these photos with my phone. To me, they look like as if taken with a regular digital camera.
Thanks,
Mohammed
They look good to me. I have done the taking the camera without a chip. Makes me soooooo angry. At least you had your cell phone that does a decent job.
Great set
I also use my phone Samsung note 2 when I see something that I think will make a good abstract
It amazes me my phone was free and my Canon dslr £5000 many cant tell the difference

Thanks Myrna. Had I not forgot the cards, I would have not known that a cell phone can take photos as good as a decent digital camera. I might use it where and when I don't have the camera.

I'm deliberately mixing examples of 35mm transparency, P&S digital, DSLR, and cell phone shots in a forthcoming portfolio -- and asking potential collaborators & fellow travelers to tell me which is which. I think there might be some surprises. :-)
Never bypass a good photo op if you have something to capture the image.

The current issue of Macworld has some great tips on using the iPhone for taking photos. There is a lot you can do with that phoen as some of these photos have shown. Bill
