Lightning is not very co-operative around here.
It usually only happens when it is bucketing down horizontally.
This was a rare occurrence when it was dry away from the storm for me.
So this practice run was probably my first semi-successful photo of lightning ever.

I love this Lighthouse. Not only did you get a great shot of Lightning, but you've got an awesome foreground building and those amazing, scary clouds are exposed for perfectly! :thumbup:
If only the rest of us mortals could get a shot of lightning like this the first time. :roll:
