I ook this picture of my wife's cute cups, and I added the butterfly in the lightroom. I have always enjoyed table top photography. Hope you like it.

Thank you for the nice comment. It's a very simple setup. I used a 24x24 carboard box, and white poster paper.

I cut the top and the front of the box...this leave me the bax, the sides and the base of my box. There is my Mini studio. Next I cut the the with of the poster paper so it would fit the box.

I draped the long end of the paper in the box and clipped the paper to the top, rear of the box... Then I adjusted the paper and clapped corners of the paper to the front of the box.

The poster paper is now set as the back drop..... Next you set the product on the paper, and your ready to go.

I don't have studio light so, I positioned the cup towards the large window to get the soft lighting. I wasn't happy with the result, so I played around with the color balance and contrast. I also had to do a little "cleanup" of the speck of reflection that I didn't care for. I added the butterfly for color.

A little work, but it was fun to do.

Rocky :)

Sounds like you know what you're doing. I don't have studio lights either, and I'm just beginning to understand lighting for photography--well, somewhat. Thanks so much for explaining, and once again, you captured a really great shot!!
