It's now the lightning bolt department.
Thanks everyone! RMM, Cyan, Swede, and Bill the b&w... striking! What is that? Is that on the Enterprise? And Swede, does this thread have a page limit? And if so does it just vanish or go into an archive somewhere? I would like to share the whole challenge with a friend whom is ill. I think she would enjoy looking and reading through. Prior to her illness, she was a photographer, she was thrown from a horse years ago. And lost much! Tho her life and will stays strong! Thanks again all!

Thanks for your comments. I like your view of Waipio Valley. Yes there is a page limit of 100 pages. Admin lets it run up to 130 to 140 pages and then cuts 100 off so the new book starts at whatever is over 100 pages. So the thread is now at about 2000 pages. Let your friend try this one that is active now and if she likes it, let me know and I will give you links to the others. There are also some other threads that she might be interested in as well.

The tilt doesn't work for me. I spend too much time trying to get my shots level.

Dynamic perspective works and fits the subject ... grabs ya.
new horizon shore line is clever and balances the composition
I like it ... pure lens and composition skill well done. Bill
I like it Rudolf! The coloring is well balanced tho the extent of the tilt, for me throws off the colors and shadows a bit, maybe just a tidbit less tilt. I however am not a good critic, yet anyway just my feelings I go with. At any rate, I wouldnt mind taking a early morning stroll right there! And Jen by the way, nice work, moving my spirit...

Jennifer, your mood must be better as the images are brighter! Today's posts are excellent. Thanks for your compliments on my images.

I agree with RMM especially in water scenes. Also your title shows a lighthouse--maybe I am loosing my sight with my hearing, but I don't see one. On the other hand the composition and B&W do well with the image. I like the slight hint of color on the horizon and the driftwood.
