I need a manual for a recently-purchased Canon SX1 IS. I know I can download and print one, but the thing is 300+ pages. Canon apparently doesn't offer the manual or DVD anymore, so I'm looking for these items. If anyone has old ones lying around that they don't need, please give me a pm. Thanks.

Just a point of view. I never carry the manual or do I keep one that a Can remember where I left it. I always keep the manual(s) in the computer in it's own directory. I always have my lap top near buy. When I have a question or concern, I just open up the Manual. Like I said, just my point of view.

Or just print out the pages that you need to have on hand, which may be no more than 10-20 pages. That's what I do.

Another thing is to scan the manual into a pdf format and keep it on your phone. My iPhone is with me generally most of the time. When I travel, or not at home or out and about and need a quick refresher, my manual is only a few finger movements away.
