Does anyone have any recommendations on a good photo scanner? I have an Epson flat bed, but it's a PITA to use and not very efficient for large numbers of photos. I'd like to get a good feed-trhough scanner that will accept both photos and negatives and scan at a decent DPI rate. I have thousands of old family photos I want to scan to preserve for posterity.
I recently bought the Espson V600 and it's awesome. You might want to invest more on the V700 since you have a large quantity of photo's and negs to scan. The V700 is faster and scans up to 12 negs at a time, the V600 does only 4 at a time. These however and not auto feed through scanners.
Thanks, the V600 looks interesting. The V700 is probably out of my price range however. How fast does this V600 scan?

Depends on the DPI you select, if you use 300 DPI it's fast, if you use 98,000 DPI is very slow.
