6 photographs, 6 species, 6 frozen fingers.
OK so I underestimated the frozen fingers. All ten are frozen. As you may have heard, the weather has been influenced by the feared Polar Vortex. I'd never heard this term until it was coined late last year. It's supposed to be a sign of global warming. Still trying to wrap my mind around that one.
Some of us have still managed to sneak out, occasionally, when the temperature has risen to the point where only the shutter button finger turns blue.
Here are 6 images of 6 different species taken in the last few days, despite the winter blast.

These are just beautiful. They are all so sharp. Would you mind telling me what camera and lens you were using?
Very fine. Love the spectacular turkey!

If your fingers are freezing how do birds manage to keep from losing their toes? That's something that I worry about when I can't sleep.
These are spectacular. Will any be included in the next book?
