My PSE 10 has quit working in the Editor Workshop. It was working yesterday. Has anyone else had that problem. It says it can not connect at this time.

I'm puzzled by "Editor Workshop" - is this an add-on, integrated program, or a name YOU use for Photoshop Elements?

When you say it "has quit working", does it do anything at all? Can you open photos? Or can you even open the program?

Did you install or uninstall anything since you last used PSE10?

Did you restart the computer? Or you might even shut the computer down and unplug it for 10 minutes or so. Then plug it back in and reboot, start PSE and see if it will work now.

If not, a re-install may do the trick.

One suggestion is to completely turn off your machine, if it is a laptop then remove the battery for approximately 30 seconds and then put the batt. back and restart the computer. If the software is stuck this could reset it and restart it. I have 10 and have not had that problem but I have reset my machine for other reasons. If you have the disc for 10 try to reload it.

I don't understand what you mean by "it cannot connect at this time". That suggests that an internet connection is needed, but with elements, no internet is necessary. It's a program that resides inside your computer.

Still no solution to the suggestions given for my PSE 10. When I try to edit my photos it says, "Runtime Error. This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." Then I click OK and up comes "Adobe PSE 10 has stopped working. A problem stopped the program from working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Then I click OK and it goes back to my pictures that are there like I haven't done anything. Adobe had me reset my password but that didn't help.

I don't have version 10, but what password did Adobe have you reset? Are you running a cloud application that requires being on the internet to use it? The versions I have used didn't require being connected to the internet except possible to actuate the program or to update it.

I have the PSE 10 on my laptop. Adobe wrote me and wanted me to reset my password so I did. Been wanting a new one anyway. I can't find my disc to download it again so can't remember if I had one or just downloaded over the internet.

I still am not sure why they want a password reset, but have you tried doing a restore to a restore point that was saved prior to when the problem started? I did have to do that with Photoshop at one point when it acted up in order to get everything back to normal with it.
