Is it a Nikon mount, Canon, Olympus or some other?

Here is a link to completed sales of the lens on eBay... Looks like they went from $490 on up... There was one for $71, but it was in need of repair...

KEH (which is a good outfit to buy from, I do on a regular basis) will not get you as much for your gear when selling to them as eBay would... After all, they have to make a profit. Bottom line is what matters more, getting the most for your gear, or convenience of selling (eBay can be a hassle sometimes)...

I sell my used gear on Amazon.com, using the Category "Used-Like New". Amazon.com takes a percentage, too, but that's the price of advertising on the largest camera-seller in the world. Of course, once you decide on a price, you may find your buyer right here on UHH. That way, there is no middle-man and everyone can save a little bit of money.

Yeah, buying & selling on the forums is a great way to do it too... I have bought an older Leica camera & am awaiting an AF 50mm F1.4 due to be delivered today...

Your lens does not include the "OS" in the description. That shows it is the older version. The newer version has OS (Optical Stabilization) so is much easier to use hand held.

Another confusion often with this lens is getting it confused with the Sigma 150-500, a great but cheaper lens.

Adorama has the lens you described for $799 in their used department. The newer version with OS sells for almost $1600 new.

You need to tell the condition of your lens and what mount it has, i.e., what camera it will fit.

A heads up, a look at her "introduction" post shows she shoots with a Canon 7D
