UHH has size limits so check this out first.
Then:
You need to check 'store original' when sending your picture otherwise you get a really small display of your work.
I have posted some rather large files using DNG vs JPG w/o problem.
To overcome the thumbnail thingy you can ue the IMG tag* then add a a link to a fuller picture as the upload will accept .RAR and .ZIP as well as other file formats.
What you can do with the IMG tag:

* create an image that is no more than 1024px wide to avoid messing up other folks display.
