I just recently learned about the feral chickens in Hawaii. And the hogs as well. Interesting but heck, free eggs.

None of these birds seemed aggressive to me, just run around looking for food. They are legal to take anytime for food. I guess the hurricane that went over Kauai in 1991 just spread all the chickens around and they have ben running free since, I guess we could call then the Hurricane Hens
