Hummingbirds Nest With Babies

I've never seen a Hummingbirds nest before with babies. I went to one of our local lakes this morning and found this nest with mom and babies. Lighting was bad and lots of branches in the way but still was fun to see.

What a great find! These are terrific. I have looked for nests in the past and never found any. Know you must have been thrilled.

I've only seen nesting hummingbirds once...and did not get the great shots you did. Well done.

Myrna, I was walking around and a man came up to me and showed me where the nest was. I decided to stay and watch it for a while. I was so excited to see a hummingbird come and feed the babies. The tree hung over the lake so this was the only angle I could get. They were very tiny. Thanks for looking.
