Return to an Old Love

Too many years since I shot with a Nikon F4 and Hasselblad 500 C/M for portraits, weddings, aerial and macro. Eagerly returning to an old Love now. We used to store film under refrigeration; do I have to keep these small cards cold now? I will not miss the darkroom and am eager to sit in the light at a computer instead. Thanks to everyone in advance who will hopefully tutor an old dog.

Welcome Guy!! We are all learning here.:) Just ask and a bunch of awesome folks will come to help you. We are family here. You are going to make some great friendships as you go. To bring back so go memories, just turn out all the lights as you work on the computer.:):) And no don't put the little cards in the refrigerator !!:):):)

Welcome to the Hog, Guy. You can keep your cards just about anywhere. There are reports that they have even been underwater for years, dried and the photos were still there intact though I don't think you will choose to store them in the sink... ;)

[quote=GuyV]Welcome to the HOG, GuyV. Consider Photoshop Elements for your darkroom. Half the fun for me is messing with my captures. David

Welcome to the hog, Guy. Yes, i also put my film in both the freezer and refrigerator, and no, your cards do not belong in the fridge. Just store them in Clamshell-SD holders. They will be safe there and stored perfectly. I order my holders from OEMPCWorld.com. Go to their website and obtain them for the cards you have. They are very inexpensive and a great way to keep your filled cards safe. You will find so many people here eager to help you. Post some of your pictures, ask questions and make some friends and be happy.
