ND and Polarizer Filters

I saw a discussion about ND and Polarizers. Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents. These pics are of Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport Or. The usual uses for polarizers are blue sky of course, and ND are for slowing down fast water. I just thought these would be good for showing different effects for sunsets. The blue tint in the second pic is from the polarizer and of course since the nd is neutral gray the sunset is in natural colors. Notice the water in the second and third how it is smoothed. Also another way to get the same effect of a nd is to use two polarizers; one a linear and the second is circular used together.

Though the polarized and ND shots are excellent, my preference is the original photo...I like the natural feel of the composition including the ripples in the water. Thanks for sharing these. Beautiful shots.

I like the creamy water with the ND filter and longer exp. but I like the wider range in color tones with the original more.
