You've probably noticed that most retired people take daily medication of some kind, myself included. If I didn't have these pills to take every day, I wouldn't know what day it was. I reach for my pill box and say, "Wow, it's Thursday already!"

And how many years has it been since your girlfriend had days of the week printed on her panties to assist your memory in a similar fashion?

Well, now, how would I know what my girlfriend's panties looked like?

I don't know about your girlfriend's panties but my girlfriends panties always said "January, February, March, etc"

Good way to save money. Only twelve pairs for the entire year and minimal laundry expense.

They wear them for a week, turn them inside out for the second week, turn them around for the third week and then inside out again for the fourth.

Then they get passed on to a younger sister (or brother).

As I think about it, it's not that funny. The longest I went without changing underwear was three weeks in Vietnam. The underwear survived sufficiently to be washed and used again, but the socks came off in pieces and threads.

No photos of me in my boxers, but I did buy my first two cameras while there. The first was a Canon rangefinder (I don't remember the model number) which I eventually dropped in the swamp. I retrieved it, but mold started growing in it the next week. The second was a Nikkormat FTn which I still have today.

I've heard that mold and rot were major problems there.

Jerry, I remember that Wednesdays were pink and Fridays were white. As you may recall, those were the nights you worked late.
