Bocah ... beucah ... boka ...

I didn't even know how to spell "bokeh" last year ... and now I'm addicted.

Shot this yesterday with a 105mm DC set at 4R on a Nikon D600. This lens is so sharp indoors, but outdoors it comes alive! The backdrop for this photo was a patch of tall, dead weeds, backlit with a setting sun.

(I've known this boy's mommy since she was a newborn 30 years ago!)

I thought maybe it was your son. Very nice picture.

Very nice, Deborah. This shot would make an excellent "just because" gift.

There is a killer Fusion restaurant not far from the Convention Center that has awesome food and the craziest bathroom decor. So much so, that my wife asked our waitress if she could take me in the Ladies Room. She said something like, Sure it happens all the time. Can't remember the name though.

Ummmm. No. His mommy is 30, which is about how old (young) I was when I met her! Sigh.

That's some very nice bokeh, and the child is adorable, too.

Nice Bokeh, I would have thought it was a beautiful golden setting. Good job on the primary focus too, the eyes.
