Took these a few days ago, after our latest ice-storm. Some of the more distant ones don't capture the view that I was seeing, with the whole tree just sparkling in the sunlight.
The last one shows the sparkle well. Very pretty.
Winter does present its photo opportunities so even though the weather is sometimes frightful, some of the pictures can be downright delightful.

Yeah. I got chilled to the bone taking these, and my feet kept breaking through the crust of ice, so they were soaking wet... Probably why I am sniffling around the house today!
The biggest frustration I had, though, was that there was nowhere to park the car... I kept seeing some wonderful photo ops, but I couldn't get the car safely off the road to do anything about them!
I see a lot of these when I am driving my school bus up and down there, so it was nice to have a chance to get back there with a camera in hand!

We had the same ice storm to deal with here in Lancaster County :cry: Still some folks w/o power :thumbdown: Can't wait for a warm up, really tired of winter at this point!
